LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police have released the names of the SWAT officers who were involved in the fatal shooting of a woman who opened fire on them from a stolen car.

Metro Police Undersheriff Kevin McMahill says officers Zachary Adam, Jair Brown, Dewane Ferrin and William Marx are all on routine paid administrative leave, pending a review of the incident.

In a media briefing Tuesday McMahill said 50-year-old Linda Lee Lush was seen driving a sedan erratically Thursday morning before she stopped in a shopping center parking lot near Jones Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road.

McMahill says officers saw Lush drinking from a bottle of Wild Turkey and smoking what they believe to be drugs before scribbling good-bye notes.

Officials say Lush yelled at officers for them to end the situation, or that she would. She was seen waving a gun before firing at the officers as they approached, shielded by an armored vehicle.

Officers returned fire, killing her.
